COVID-19 Updates Camp Cinder - Firefighter Camp for Young Women Camp Cinder is a completely free, 4-night sleep-away camp designed to allow young women ages 14 to 18 to learn about careers in fire fighting. Under the supervision of female CAL FIRE firefighters, campers gain hands-on experience, confidence and make life-long friendships. Camp Cinder will take place in Shasta and San Luis Obispo in June of 2020. Applications are now being accepted.
